USTC International Students Participated in the 10th “Culture Study Activity of International Students in Anhui Province” |

From April
19st to 21st, 20 teachers and students from international college of USTC
participated in the 10th cultural study activity named "Huishan, Huishui
and Hui Culture", sponsored by Anhui Foreign Student Education Management
Association for international students in Anhui province. In this activity, the
international students of USTC not only experienced the outstanding culture of
the Chinese nation but also got to know about Anhui from multiple perspectives
and fell in love with it by learning about local customs and appreciating the
unique charm of its culture. Meanwhile, the activity contributed to the
promotion of communication and enhancement of friendship among international
students of different universities.

The event was officially held in the Cultural Tourism Zone of Xinghua Village in Chizhou City. The representatives of international students from USTC were deeply impressed by the lasting charm of Chinese culture. In the Muzhi Building, they experienced the peaceful pastoral life. While visiting the Kui Park, they appreciated the spirit of introspection and modesty of the greatest learned Chinese. |

Guided by the team leader, the representatives of international students visited the Qishan Scenic Spot in Chizhou. They were in high spirit to enjoy the quaint and beautiful scenery of the mountain and were quite interested in the source of its name. |

|
|
|
The next day, they visited the famous Dayuan Cultural Park and the old factory of Runsi Keemun Black Tea in Chizhou to explore the natural and cultural landscapes of southern Anhui and experience the unique charm of Huizhou culture. |
|
|
|
|
|
On the last day of the trip, the participating teachers and students from international college of USTC understood the tea culture in Anhui by experiencing the profound skills and tasting the fragrant and refreshing tea in the old factory of Runsi Keemun. |
|
|
|
|
|
During the three-day travel study, the international students learned about the long history of China and the profound traditional culture by their own experiences and were deeply impressed by them. |
