After investigation and discussion, a decision has been made at the President’ Meeting that the following six international students have been officially given the punishment of expulsion from USTC due to their serious violation on USTC regulations.

1, JEFFREY LEE CRUZ

Didn’t register for consecutive two semesters without going through any asking for leave or suspension procedure since Sept. 2018.

2, MUHAMMAD IFZAN ARSHAD

Left USTC without submitting an application for leave and getting permission from his supervisor in October 2018, and failed to register without going through any asking for leave or suspension procedure.

3, USMAN AHMED

Didn’t register without going through any asking for leave or suspension procedure since the spring semester 2019 after his business leave from Jan 2018 to Feb. 2019. 

4, AMR AHMED EL ARABEY MOHAMED ZAID

Applied for suspension from 26th March to 1st Sept. 2018, but didn't resume his study as the time scheduled and failed to register for consecutive two semesters without going through any asking for leave or suspension procedure.

5, SAMEEN AKBAR

Didn’t register for consecutive two semesters without going through any asking for leave or suspension procedure since Sept. 2018.

6, NANA KWABAH II

Didn't register in Sept. 2018, and it was stated that he had to postpone the registration because of the illness. But still failed to register for next two consecutive semesters without going through any asking for leave or suspension procedure.
